From Chicago to Phoenix

Yesterday, my sellers sold their condo at 1448 North Orleans -- it was an emotional day for them. I walked up to the front door to get the keys, and there was my client, eyes filled with tears as she stared at her empty home of many years. I hugged her and thought back to when my parents sold our Hinsdale houses. I cried through every move.

This sweet couple is headed to Arizona, where they recently bought a new house. After agonizing over their gift, I think I struck gold: hand-painted coasters with dots connecting Chicago to Phoenix. It's a little reminder of where they've been and where they'll go next. 

For me, it was an honor to list their Old Town condo. I received 10 offers (yes, T-E-N) in a week, and the winning bid was $25,000 over our asking price. It was a real estate dream, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to make this incredible sale happen.
